Try These All-Natural Alternatives to Toxic Household Cleaners
Rejuvenation, regrowth, and renewal- Spring perfectly symbolizes these ideas. It’s no wonder that most people choose this season to clean their homes thoroughly and get rid of the clutter that accumulated in the last year. When it comes to cleaning our homes, many of us rely on commercial cleaning products for our household cleaning supplies. Having three kids running around the house has made me more cautious about what I’ve used in the past, introducing into their surroundings. It made me read the labels closely and I realized just how many of these products were brimming with synthetic chemicals that are potentially toxic.
My solution: essential oils, of course! I replaced all of the chemical products I previously used with homemade, all-natural cleaners made using essential oils. Now that my 3 boys are teenagers, they are closer than ever to the cleaners, that’s when they actually clean up after themselves and do their chores! I am glad I made the switch when they were younger. Not only are these safer, but they are also more effective. Plus, you save a few bucks.
